The Samsung 860 EVO, the newest version of the SATA SSD series, is specially designed to boost the performance of mainstream PCs and laptops. This fast and reliable SSD comes with the latest V-NAND technology in a wide range of compatible form factors and capacities. Even under heavy workloads and multi-tasking, speeds are stable, enabling faster file transfer. Using Intelligent TurboWrite technology, the 860 EVO performs at sequential read speeds up to 550 MB / s and sequential write speeds up to 520 MB / s. TurboWrite buffer size: upgraded to 78 GB from 12 GB. Performance may differ depending on the firmware version of the SSD and the hardware and configuration of the device. Sequential measures of writing efficiency are based on the technology of Intelligent TurboWrite. Sequential measures of efficiency on the basis of CrystalDiskMark v.5.0.2 and I0meter 1.1.0. The sequential write output is 300 MB / s for 250/500 GB and 500 MB / s for 1 TB for the Intelligent TurboWrite area. Test device configuration: 3.3 GHz Intel Core i5-3550 CPU, 4 GB, OS-Ultimate x64 Windows 7, Chipset: ASUS P8H77-V.
